We collect the minimum information required to deliver your personalized oracle readings:

Birth details: Date of birth, time of birth, and place of birth — used to calculate your natal chart and generate personalized daily readings.
Email address: Used to send your daily oracle reading and service-related communications.
Payment information: Processed directly by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number or payment details on our servers.
Usage data: Anonymous analytics including page visits and feature interactions, collected to improve the service. No personally identifiable information is included.

3. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively to provide and improve the Oracle service:

Generate your personalized daily frequency readings
Send your daily reading to your email address
Process and manage your subscription
Respond to your support inquiries
Improve the accuracy and quality of our readings
Comply with legal obligations

We will never sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted by Neon, a SOC 2 Type II certified cloud database provider. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit using industry-standard TLS encryption.

We retain your data for as long as your account remains active. If you request deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the Oracle:

Stripe — Payment processing. Your payment information is processed and stored by Stripe under their privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.
Anthropic Claude — AI reading generation. Your birth details are transmitted to Anthropic's API to generate your personalized daily reading. Anthropic processes this data under their privacy policy at anthropic.com/privacy.
Render — Application hosting. Our servers are hosted on Render's infrastructure.
Google Fonts — Typography. Font files are loaded from Google's servers.

6. Cookies

We use minimal cookies necessary for service operation:

Session cookies: Keep you logged in during your visit.
Analytics identifier: An anonymous visitor ID stored in localStorage to count unique visitors without tracking personally identifiable information.

We do not use advertising cookies or behavioral tracking cookies. You may clear your browser cookies at any time without affecting the core functionality of the service.

7. Your Rights (CCPA & GDPR)

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Right to access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Right to deletion: Request that we delete your personal data. We will comply within 30 days.
Right to correction: Request correction of inaccurate data we hold about you.
Right to portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format.
